IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON OUR RE-OPENING
We are excited to advise our members, that we have safely reopened our doors on Saturday 25th July 2020.
We ask you to not attend the gym if you are feeling unwell, have a high temperature or new continuous cough.
We commit to the wellbeing of staff and customers and therefore when we re-open you will notice some changes around the place.
Our entrance to the gym will adhere to the social distancing rules.
There will be hand sanitiser on entrance that we will ask member to use.
Our staff will also adhere to the social distancing rules and you may also see them wearing face masks and shields.
All staff will be fully trained on our new cleaning and safety measures to ensure these are delivered to the highest standard.
Although all our gyms have been professionally fogged our staff will carry out regular rigorous cleaning, particularly of high-contact touch points throughout the premises.
Equipment will be distanced, and you will also see floor markings advising on the distancing rules.
Class capacity will be minimised, and you’ll see floor marking in the studios. There will be sufficient space between each class to allow for social distancing and we would ask you to not gather in groups whilst waiting for classes. There will be no sharing of equipment unless disinfected between uses.
You will see sanitisers stations throughout the gym available for you to wipe down your kit after use.
Changing facilities will be open and we ask members to adhere to social distancing rules in these areas.
We will control the numbers in the gym any one time, so it never gets too busy.
Your direct debit payments were frozen from 20th March, therefore your next payment will take into account any days you lost during the closure, so you will not have paid for any time we were closed.
We adhere to the latest government guidelines in all our facilities and we require you to do the same.

MEMBER UPDATE – PAYMENTS FROZEN (20th March 2020)
As you are probably aware all GymWorks clubs temporarily closed on Friday 20th March in line with the government guidelines in preventing the spread of COVID-19. We are doing everything in our power to open again as soon as is possible.
As i’m sure you all know we are a small independent chain who prides ourself in looking after our members and giving them the greatest service possible. We want to thank everyone for their continued support in these unprecedented times.
We have automatically frozen all membership payments, meaning you’ll not pay anything until we are allowed to re-open. There is no need for you to do anything. Please DO NOT cancel your direct debit as this will cause problems with your membership administration. Payments will cease immediately. Any lost time due to payments recently made will be added free before your next payment.
Although we will be closed, we are still here to support your exercise needs. We want to help our members in every way possible to stay as fit and healthy during these difficult times.
With this in mind we have created an exciting resource of FREE home workouts, on-demand classes and coaching support that can be accessed via the GymWorks App. This will be available to download early next week.

In circumstances like these physical exercise is more important than ever for both our physical and mental health and we hope all our members will continue to support us, engage with us and stay active. We look forward to welcoming you all back into our clubs as soon as we are able.
