GymWorks has a huge range of studio classes catering for all levels of fitness and experience led by some of the most amazing teachers in the North West. All of our classes are included in your monthly membership and you can take part in as many as you like each month at no extra cost.
Abs Blast is an intense core workout class, that specifically targets the obliques and rectus abdominis (aka your side and front!) The class integrates a mix of lifting movements, twists and static holds to enhance core cardio and strength. With consistent format each week, participants can easily track their progress and experience noticeable strength gains over time. Yes, you’re going to want to swear at me, but as long as you’re working – you get a free pass!
Combat Cardio high energy class, combining non-contact boxing drills and full body work. Condition, tone and feel good in this empowering class. Focus on arms, legs and core.
In the functional area, we lead a high-intensity circuit class designed for a comprehensive full-body workout. This class utilises various equipment around the room, with participants engaging in 30 second intervals at each station. The exercises range from bodyweight movements to free weights, cables, and more, ensuring a dynamic and effective fitness experience. All you have to do is show up! Go at your own pace.

Kick Cardio blends a cardio workout with elements of interval training. Inspired by martial arts, combinations are choreographed to high-energy music to help punch and kick your way to fitness. No experience is needed. Come and release stress and have a blast whilst burning up to 600+ calories.
Combining the fluidity of dance, power of martial arts and breath of yoga this fusion class will energise, mobilise, stretch and strengthen. Salsa beats, drums, techno and more. Feel empowered and have fun.
Spin is an amazing, challenging way to get incredibly fit. All it takes is pushing through those first sessions as they are always the hardest. Once you do, don’t be surprised if you find yourself addicted. It relies on a combination of fast paced cycling and strategic lighter rest intervals to get you recovered for the next burst. Our spin classes last around 45 minutes, so you’ll be burning at least 400-600 calories per class.
Step is a cardio and conditioning class with fun choreography. Step will tone, and sculpt the legs while working the arms and upper body. Core blast and strengthening is also included in this class.
Strength and Tone is the ideal workout for anyone looking to get lean, toned, and fit – fast. Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition, this class gives you a total body workout. It will burn up to 400+ calories while you reap the many benefits of lifting weights.
Yoga classes are for fun and enjoyment. Yoga strengthens muscles ,improves flexibility and balance. Yoga benefits heart health which gives you more energy and brighter moods. Yoga improves breath control which can help stress management and our whole body’s wellbeing. Namaste.
